On the upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Ellie, 45, will be concerned about her man Victor’s safety. Hurricane Iota is heading to the small Colombian island of Providencia where he lives. A peek into Sunday’s episode reveals Ellie catching up with Victor, 38, on video chat, where he explains that the hurricane is heading to the island.

Ellie and Victor have had a long-distance relationship since meeting during her visit to South America. Victor lives on the Colombian island of Providencia, while Ellie lived in Seattle. According to TLC’s synopsis, Ellie has decided to leave her successful restaurant business and city life in the US to move to the island.

However, as she prepares to move, various issues relating to trust, cheating and finances are dwarfed as Hurricane Iota sweeps over the island of Providencia, leaving behind unimaginable destruction.

Ellie loses contact with Victor the night before the storm strikes and after several days, she decides to travel to the island, distraught and desperate to locate Victor.

TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Ellie Contacts Victor

A teaser trailer for Sunday’s episode picks up before Hurricane Iota strikes Providencia. In the clip, Victor tells Ellie that right now, he is a little scared about the hurricane. Victor says, “All I can think about is just like, try to put like, everything that I can into the kitchen and the bathroom, which is concrete.” He said then he would try to evacuate and go somewhere where his life is going to be safe. Victor adds, “It’s a tropical storm right now, but in the next few hours, it’s going to be a hurricane.”

The TLC reality star explains that the storm is set to hit maybe the next night, by which time it will be a hurricane. Victor theorizes it will be category two or three by then and said it will do some damage.

In the clip, Ellie replies, saying “I just hope that you guys don’t get hit that hard.” They end their video chat with Ellie telling Victor to “stay safe” and him telling her he loves her and misses her.

In a confessional, Ellie opens up about her concern over Victor’s safety. “That’s really scary because Hurricane Katrina made landfall as a category three and it did a ton of damage,” she says. The TLC reality star explains that Providencia is “just a tiny rock in the middle of the Caribbean” and that there is literally no place for him to go.

According to Ellie, most of the buildings on the island are very basic and made from wood, meaning there is no safe place for Victor to hide. She says she cannot imagine what it is like for Victor on the island right now, explaining that she would be totally freaking out.
