90 Day Fiancé Star Stephanie Davison Threatened By Michigan Attorney General

As fans know, Stephanie Davison owns a non-surgical weight loss center, Skin Envy, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The 90 Day Fiancé star is currently being threatened with litigation or an investigation by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. The trouble is over the alleged fact that Stephanie told her fans that Skin Envy’s Ipamorelin/Sermorelin peptides injection boosts the immune system and prevents COVID-19.

TLC – 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Star Stephanie Davison Threatened With Litigation

Stephanie’s problems began on Monday in a notice of intended action by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office. She was told to retract the statement that linked the use of the Skin Envy Ipamorelin/Sermorelin injection with prevention against COVID-19. Nessel’s office stated that failure to do so could result in a civil lawsuit or formal investigation.

However, Davison continues to deny that she stated that her health injection would prevent COVID-19. On Wednesday, Stephanie posted a selfie to her Instagram page where she didn’t directly mention Nessel’s notice. However, she did challenge her social media followers to prove that she said: “what is being spread.”

The post by the 90 Day Fiancé star reveals her looking into a mirror. In her caption, Davison wrote, “Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who has the TRUTHFUL story every time, after all? Meeeeeeee!”

Her caption continued, “Since so many will need convincing, it’s time to put my money where my mouth is!! $10,000 to the person who can find words FROM MY MOUTH saying what is being spread… dumb a*s “quotes” do NOT count!!! Princess spills her own tea! Good luck, and again… it must be EXACTLY what is being spread, contrived interpretations need not apply!”

One of her followers – her massage therapist – commented, saying Davison said the injection helps with immunity and “never said that is cure” for COVID-19. They wrote if anyone knows, they know how she is promoting vaccinations and had herself been vaccinated as soon as it was available.

Stephanie responded, writing, “You are correct my friend!! Huge proponent of being vaccinated. You see me every week, and it seems to always be one of our main topics of conversation.”

TLC – 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Stephanie Davison Responds To Dana Nessel’s Allegations

While she didn’t reference Nessel’s allegations directly in her caption, she did address them in her replies to fans’ comments.

In one comment, she wrote, “I stated I have a boosted immune system. I have never promoted my shots are a cure for anything. I said I was thankful I’ve been vaccinated so I don’t have to worry about getting it now.”

The Detroit News reports that Stephanie reached out to Nessel’s office on Thursday this week without a lawyer and she is currently engaged in negotiations with the department. Lynsey Mukomel, a spokeswoman for the Attorney General’s office, said it is not their policy to disclose the contents of such discussions. She said, “Ms. Davidson should be warned, however, that any public statements she may make that are inconsistent with what she tells us will jeopardize those negotiations.”

The Detroit News tried to contact a woman listed as Davison’s contact on her social media but without success. The person that answered the phone said Stephanie declined to comment on the matter.

TLC – 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Star Stephanie Davison And COVID-19

The notice from the Attorney General’s office came after Stephanie spoke to WOOD TV’s Eight West program. In the interview, she said that all her friends had contracted COVID-19, but she never did.

However, Davison never directly said that Skin Envy’s Ipamorelin/Sermorelin injection prevents COVID-19. What she did say was how thankful she was that she didn’t catch the virus, adding that now she has been vaccinated she will never get it now. “So I’m so grateful and I’ve had people tell me in the medical field that it is probably due to the Ipamorelin/Sermorelin.”

Davison was asked to make a public retraction within 10 days and should stop claiming the injection prevents COVID-19. Nessel’s office also told her to discontinue the use of a video repeating that claim.

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs Sundays on TLC at 8 pm EST.
