Earlier this year, the two parted ways because Ed was a narcissist and Liz announced their split around May 2021, revealing how emotionally abusive he was as a partner.
Surprisingly, their breakup didn’t last long, as they made up and got themselves engaged with each other after a few months. Ed admitted he didn’t treat Liz well, and he was getting therapy to make himself better.
After keeping their engagement away from the public, Liz Woods posted a throwback photo of her catching a bouquet in a wedding reception when Big Ed stumbled upon her.
Liz revealed that her fiancé, Edward Allen “Ed” Brown, was the reason behind her bruised ankle.
“Why Ed was in the girls only crowd to catch the bouquet, idk, but I caught the bouquet and he knocked me to the floor bumping into me trying to catch it himself,” Liz captioned tagging Big Ed in the photo.
“Guess we were really next. My ankle was bruised for a week. Cheers to 1 year later.”
However, despite the two having the best days of their lives, some fans were not happy with the reunion, for they think that Liz just reunited with Big Ed for the sake of fame and some were not happy how the latter broke his fiancée’s ankle. Amidst the negative comments about them, most of their supporters were delighted with their engagement and hoping for their happy ending.
Days following their engagement announcement, Liz Woods shared People exclusive photos of her and Ed on her Instagram account.
Last September this year, it was rumored that Liz and Ed were engaged when a fan spotted the couple in Santa Barbara. After two months of keeping their engagement a secret, the two revealed how they reignited their love and dropped a few details of Ed’s proposal.
Liz shared on one of her Instagram stories a photo of her and Ed showing the diamond on her ring finger. She also posted their engagement pictorial with People and expressed her love for her fiancé in the caption.
“TO FOREVER! August 29th at 3:30 in the morning! I’ll never forget your proposal and I’ll never forget my attitude and completely shocked!!! Yesssss!!! I will marry you…”
Now that the couple enjoyed their engagement, fans were relieved that they would no longer see a fighting Liz and Ed in “90 Day Fiancé.”
