90 Day Fiancé star Debbie Johnson is ready to put herself out there and get reality TV fame all of her own. In fact, Colt’s 69-year-old mom recently got a complete makeover and a new tattoo, and the results are startling. Debbie will be starring in season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life and is clearly ready to start dating again.

At almost 70 years of age, Debbie Johnson is ready to look for love again. She was married to her husband and Colt’s father, Harley Johnson, for 27 years prior to his death 13 years ago. Since that time, she has been living the widow’s life, not even thinking of dating.

However, after appearing with her son Colt, 36, on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé in 2018, Debbie is ready for her own spot on reality TV. With her glamorous new look she will hopefully find love
again on The Single Life.

TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Total makeover

In an interview with Us Weekly, Debbie said she has had a total makeover. She has a new hair style, with long red hair and also has a tattoo for the very first time. “I’ve never had one before.First time at almost 70 years old. It’s exciting. So, a little Botox here and there and all set.”

Her glamorous new look can be seen clearly in images published by Us Weekly and shared by 90 Day Fiancé Instagram fan account, 90daythemelanatedway. What with her hair, makeup and style along the sexy butterfly tattoo, she certainly is ready to party.

Colt’s mom said she is also ready for love again, or at least some fun. Having pretty much sat at home for 13 years, she has decided to start her life over and take it seriously. Debbie says she wants to “see what’s out there and give it a shot,” adding, “So, they let me be on Single Life to see how it goes.”

However, she did add that before joining the show, she wanted to reinvent herself and “go back to me being me” instead of being the normal “mom type of deal.”

“I wanted to be the more feminine, sexy [me]. I guess you can be sexy at 70,” she said. “I had a lot of people making suggestions of what I should do. So, I was very open to anything anybody had to say. … I do [feel sexy].”

How does Colt feel about his mother’s decision to enter the dating world again? It turns out he is fully supportive. Debbie said that her son is proud of her for “going back out there and giving it a shot.” Meanwhile, she did add that now Colt is married to Vanessa, this is the perfect time to “get back out there.”

Debbie also made a valid point. She said she decided to do 90 Day: The Single Life because they aren’t many people on the show of around her age. She admitted that it is difficult for people of her age to get back out there and start dating. Her thought is that she can maybe teach a few people, so they won’t be so negative about joining the single dating world again.

Season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life debuts on discovery+ on Friday, November 12.
