Stephanie knows that Ryan is the kind of person who “loses things’ but decided to give him the watch anyway. However, fans were quick to point out that the snake watch doesn’t even cost $3,000. In fact, it’s priced at $219 on eBay and Amazon.

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Season 8 Spoilers – Is Stephanie Telling The Truth?

Because so many people were talking about the price of the watch on social media, Stephanie took to her own Instagram account to clarify the matter, and pointed out that the watch is now 94 percent less than what she paid for. She wrote, “There seems to be a lot of controversy in regards to a scene that mentioned a $3000 watch on the show. It is being said the watch is only worth $250. I just wanted to clear the air and remind everyone that the show is not in real-time. It’s like a car, when it was a new model it cost more, it’s now a year old.”

Stephanie also added that she loves a “great sale.”
