90 Day Fiancé star Kalani Faagata continues to deal with her struggling marriage with Asuelu Pulaa. The mother of two has had enough of her husband’s antics, who doesn’t seem to change despite the chances she gave him.
Now Kalani is contemplating legally ending their marriage. But it comes with a price that she may not afford.

Looks like Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa are still facing problems in their marriage. The 90 Day Fiance couple has been trying to make things work for months now with very little progress.
In last week’s episode of Happily Ever After, Kalani revealed that she and Asuelu are caught in the never-ending cycle of kiss and make-up. Apparently, it has become too much for Kalani that she’s now contemplating divorce.

Kalani Faagata met up with a divorce attorney to discuss the possibility of legally separating from Asuelu Pulaa. The 90 Day Fiance star said she’s “serious about divorce being an option,” seemingly determined to break free.
But that might be difficult for Kalani to do, especially with the consequences that come with it. Apparently, divorcing is not the most practical thing for her to do at the moment.

Talking with the Family Law expert, Kalani Faagata explained Asuelu Pulaa’s current visa status. The 90 Day Fiancé star’s father, Low, was also present during the video meeting.
It turns out, Kalani’s dad helped her to get Asuelu to America. Low co-signed so Asuelu’s visa will be approved. At the time, both Kalani and Low knew that they could be responsible for Asuelu financially for ten years.
But in an unexpected turn of events, the ten-year requirement has been prolonged. Kalani and her father are now responsible for Asuelu financially for a lifetime or for as long as he stays in America.

The only way to get around this is if Asuelu gets deported or becomes a citizen. This isn’t exactly the news the 90 Day Fiance star is hoping to hear. She now has to make her choice carefully.
“I would hope that if we ever got divorced that Asuelu would go back to Samoa,” Kalani said. “If he stayed around, it could turn out to be a nightmare. We’re at a fork in the road now.”
