90 Day Fiancé Fans Slam Potthast Family After Behaving Harshly In Family Meeting

Several “90 Day Fiancé” fans have slammed the Potthast family on social media after witnessing how they have been treating Andrei Castravet, their sibling’s husband, in a family meeting set by their father, Chuck, to discuss his plans of welcoming Andrei into the family business.

Sunday’s episode of “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” showed Libby stormed out from the family meeting after things get heated with brother Charlie. Almost all of her siblings were reluctant with Chuck’s idea of working with Andrei and allowing him to manage his property suggesting that if Andrei performs well, later on, he might loan him money for him to branch off.

But Charlie was obviously against the idea and didn’t hold back his opinion: “I got one thing to say, OK, f**k him…” Libby wasn’t able to stand the harsh words of her brother to Andrei, who wasn’t physically included in the meeting. She hurried to leave but Charlie argued even more “If he wants to do this, earn it — earn it.”

“He needs to come, basically, kiss our a**, and say, ‘I’m sorry’ … that’s just the bottom line,” Charlie told the cameras.

With what transpired at the family meeting, some fans have criticized the Potthast family for how they perceive their sister’s husband. A fan expressed his disappointment on Reddit and titled it “Potthast family motto: Hypocrisy for all, and all for hypocrisy”, saying that this family has the audacity to insult Andrei as a “bum” or “lazy” when in fact, they are all “all riding on Chuck’s coattails.”

Some ‘90 Day Fiancé’ viewers have swarmed in the comment section and shared similar views on the topic. A fan expressed that the Potthast members are so entitled when they are just “livin’ off Chucky’s cheese!” And even if some fans are not pro-Andrei, the Potthast’s treatment of him almost makes them side with him. “I don’t like Andrei, but Libby’s family is the WORST,” an anti-Andrei shared.

A fan also suggested that Andrei should’ve gone to selling a house first or “work his way up at a company instead of saying how he’s the man” when he only guilt trips his father-in-law by wanting to have a good life for his wife and child to which Chuck falls to. “Settle down, Charlie. Andrei is a bum, just like the rest of them. They couldn’t make it in the private sector at all,” a fan replied.

Libby and Charlie have been at odds since her wedding day in Moldova last season when drunk Charlie humiliated her husband, Andrei, warning him not to rely on Chuck for money. It was revealed that Chuck was the one who financially made their second wedding grandeur. Recently, Andrei had also received criticisms from fans after asking for a loan of $100,000 to Chuck after being warned by Charlie. But Chuck disagreed, rather he invited him to be in their business.

In an interview with Us Weekly on Thursday, April 29, Andrei has spoken in regards to his brother-in-law, Charlie, and revealed that: “At this moment of time, the relationship is nonexistent.”

“He’s a drunk bum, that’s what it is. Like, bottom line, he loves alcohol too much and it is what it is,” he explained.
