Most 90 Day Fiancé fans find Ron and Betty Gibbs overbearing, but this isn’t stopping them trying to get all they can from their TLC fame.

Ever since season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé first aired, fans have been irritated by Brandon Gibbs’ parents, Ron and Betty. The couple is overly strict with Brandon and Julia, making them at first sleep in separate bedrooms. Betty also tried to force Julia to take birth control tablets. Admittedly, the couple has since allowed them to sleep together, as they were doing so anyway. Despite their unpopular personalities, however, Ron and Betty have announced they are now available on Cameo. Are they trying to cash in on their dubious fame?

Like many TLC reality stars, Brandon’s parents, Ron and Betty have announced their debut on Cameo. The online platform has been set up so that fans can get a personalized message from their favorite celebrities by paying a fee. It was recently reported that fellow unpopular 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed Brown is making a killing using Cameo. Now Ron and Betty are hoping to do the same.

The controversial couple posted a video on Instagram, letting fans know they are now available on Cameo. They are happy to record birthday greetings and shout-outs for fans, their friends and family. Betty tried to get comical by referring to Brandon and Julia’s situation when the Russian beauty first arrived in the US. She said, “If you know somebody who has moved in together and shouldn’t be in the same room, let us know.” At least we now know who Brandon inherited his questionable sense of humor from!

While they are obviously trying to make some extra cash with their Cameos, there is some good news. The couple will donate a portion of their proceeds to their local animal shelter.

Betty wrote in her caption, “Hey 90 Day Fans… we are now on Cameo! And a portion of all our proceeds will be donated to our local animal shelter! Let us do a SHOUTOUT for you! Wanna [sic] chat? Send me a message on the Cameo app.”

As Ron and Betty are not the most popular supporting cast members on 90 Day Fiancé, many fans have called them out in the past for their controlling behavior. Fans are also unhappy that the couple uses their son’s fiancée, Julia Trubkina, as free farm labor. Due to this, it is somewhat shocking to see the couple taking on Cameo. However, Julia seems to approve of their decision and simply commented with the word “finally.” Fellow cast member, Ukrainian Yara Zaya, also approves, writing, “Yes. Y’all are cool.”

However, fans on Reddit trolled the couple when they heard the news. One fan referred to the Gibbs’ controversial dog breeding facility, writing, “Is the ‘animal shelter’ secretly their backyard breeding operation?” Another wrote, “The same shelter that will come and take your animals away?” A truly skeptical fan changed Ron and Betty’s words by writing, “an infinitesimally tiny portion of all our proceeds will be donated.”

Other fans are speculating whether Ron and Betty will launch an OnlyFans account. Past rumors did allege that the couple had been swingers in the past. However, they are unlikely to make as much as Larissa Lima does on her OnlyFans, as she makes tens of thousands of dollars on a regular basis.

Despite the bad press, if anyone wants to hire Ron and Betty for a personalized message, they are charging $39 each.
