90 Day Fiancé fans knew that Angela Deem was undergoing various procedures to lose weight. In August last year, Michael Ilesanmi’s wife had a breast reduction, gastric sleeve reduction and liposuction on her back. However, that wasn’t the last of it and images shared by Angela to her Instagram page reveal she is a brand-new woman.

Fans first met Angela Deem and her husband, Michael Ilesanmi on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. At that time, fans learned of the problems leading up to their marriage and Angela’s inability to bear Michael’s child.

During the Tell-All for the series, Angela revealed that she was planning to have surgery in order to lose some excess weight. At that time, Michael was shocked. Angela is currently in America, but Ilesanmi is still living in Nigeria. It turns out he likes being able to cuddle all that extra weight. Michael was also concerned about the dangers of undergoing surgery.

Despite Michael’s feelings, Angela Deem has now confirmed that she has dropped between 80 and 90 lbs from the surgery. She recently told Us Weekly that she has always wanted to enhance her look for Michael because he is so much younger. However, she also admitted that she felt like she would have died without having the weight-loss surgery. Angela, 55, is a heavy smoker and her husband, Michael is 32. She was worried that if she didn’t get the surgery she was going to die.

Recently, Angela shared a series of incredible photos to her Instagram account. The images had been taken for a magazine article by Us Weekly. In her caption, Angela wrote, “Yay! Happy to show yall [sic] these amazing pictures of mine,” while urging her followers to read the Us Weekly article.

Speaking to the magazine, she said she wasn’t really nervous until the day of the operation came. While she was still ready to go ahead, she started thinking, “What if I don’t come out of the anesthesia?”

Angela admitted she works hard and only sleeps three hours a night. However, as she got older, her age started telling her that she wasn’t as young as she used to be. She first went for a breast reduction but then decided to go ahead with all the treatments, instead of having to go backward and forward to California.

Deem did admit that it was the worst three months of her life. She described her weight loss as a journey, physically and emotionally. While recovering hasn’t been easy for her, the results are worth it and the process will continue. Now Angela feels so much better, she has the ability to spend more time with her family and with Michael. She said she did it all to stay alive and to benefit her loved ones.

Fans and friends were quick to comment on Angela’s Instagram post, with co-star David Toborowski writing, “You look amazing congratulations to you we are so proud of what you have completed.” Other fans agreed with David, commenting on how incredibly beautiful Angela looks after her surgery.
