And according to the reality TV star, the split from now-ex boyfriend Phillip doesn’t feel that painful for one key reason. Tammy claims she chose to split rather than getting dumped, reported People. 

“I broke up with Phillip because I was tired of him getting mad over every little thing,” announces the 35-year-old 1000-Lb Sisters star in the sneak peek. A producer then asks if Tammy will take a dating hiatus. “My door’s always open to talking to people. And if something works out, then it just works out,” adds the reality TV star.

But the sneak peek also shows that Tammy has learned from her most recent split. Getting together with her sister Misty for lunch, the 1000-Lb Sisters star dishes on how she protects herself. For instance, Tammy limits her responses to social media direct messages. “I don’t talk to that many people as I used to. I am trying to be more careful,” she explains.

On her lunch outing with Misty, Tammy also discusses how her sexuality plays a role in her search for romance. “I came out, you know, last year as pansexual, so I’m looking for a partner,” reveals the 1000-Lb Sisters star. “I’m not looking for something specific. I want to be with somebody that makes me happy.”

 And that someone could be male or female, according to Tammy. Both men and women send her direct messages. For instance, the 1000-Lb Sisters star shared that she receives invitations to date daily. “Hey baby, you cute. [I] wanna take you out,” said the reality TV star in describing a sample message.

But Misty worries that Tammy values romance over her health. “Tammy has a bad habit of getting into relationships and not keeping her focus where it needs to be,” Misty confides in producers. “And I think that her priority should be more on her diet instead of the dating.” But Tammy refuses to respond to the question of whether dating trumps dieting. “I don’t want to talk about that s—. Damn,” sums up the reality TV star.

1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – ‘Glammy’ Tammy In Trouble?

Reality TV show stars have become known for transformations. For instance, from the premiere of “Jon & Kate Plus 8” to the final episode of the spin-off “Kate Plus 8,” Kate Gosselin became a glamorized version of herself. The busy mom even allowed cameras to track her tummy tuck. As a result of that plastic surgery and other changes, Kate seemed to feel more self-confident. 

But getting glamorized doesn’t always benefit reality TV show cast members. Some viewers even worry that producers have gone much too far in “glamorizing” Tammy Slaton. For instance, one Reddit critic wrote, “The production company is the problem here. They put her on regular TV, and she was already thirst trapping and being a fraud on YouTube.”

And others questioned whether the 1000-Lb Sisters star’s glamour makeup hints at exploitation. “She’s being exploited and is either 1.) Okay with being exploited because she gets what she wants (validation, ‘fame’ and money) no matter what, or 2.) doesn’t truly realize how exploitive TLC and its possible consequences is being but is nonetheless basking in what she falsely thinks is ‘fame’ etc.,” added another.
