Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Billy Abbott and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have been married twice and it didn’t work out, from 2010-2011 and 2011-2014. This time they reconciled they didn’t remarry, they just lived together, mainly because of the two marriages that didn’t work out. The first time they got married was in Jamaica, and they had gotten drunk.
They were going to get it annulled but realized that they really liked each other so they kept putting it off. Victor found out they had gotten married thanks to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and he didn’t approve. He found Victoria half-naked with Billy in a trailer and made her get dressed and tried to make her leave! She refused.
Then Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) found out the marriage was not legal because marriages in Jamaica are only legal if they take place before a certain time and theirs didn’t. They moved on with their lives together and bought a house together and Victoria found herself pregnant. They decide then to get married but the Feds come to arrest Victoria for bribery, but the justice of the peace finishes the ceremony before she’s hauled off. They later learn that Victor is behind the arrest to stop the marriage, and even though Victor got the charges dropped, she wouldn’t forgive him.
She and Victor got in a fight and she miscarried the baby. Later, Billy lost custody of his daughter with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) and abandons Victoria. Victoria is later kidnapped by a gambling associate of Billy’s because of unpaid debt, but Victoria still does not divorce Billy. Finally, she has had enough after Billy has another affair, and divorces him.
The first marriage from 2010-2011 was when they found out it was illegal and the second is when they married legally but they were actually together that whole time period until Billy abandoned her and she eventually divorces him.
Billy obviously was worried when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) called him while he was at work and told him Victoria had been taken to the hospital, so he would know what was going on in case he had to take care of their children or tell them what was going on with their mother.
He was waiting in the hospital to find out what was going on, which thankfully was only angina, although Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) did notice low blood flow to her heart and wanted to do further tests. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) spotted him and told him to stay away from Victoria and he responded that Nikki had called him!
After Billy learns that she will be okay he leaves, but warns Nick that someday he will fall off his high horse and it will hurt! It is likely this encounter with Nick that will bring Victor to give Billy an ultimatum, and that ultimatum will more than likely involve telling him to stay away from Victoria as well, and if he doesn’t, there will be consequences!
