Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Knows Adam’s Up To No Good – See What He Does

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman And Chelsea Lawson Encounter Each Other At Society

Nick and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) encounter each other while at Society, and Chelsea approaches Nick to say hello. Nick starts talking with her about Adam, who had come to the Newman Ranch, and he is very suspicious that Adam is up to something. Chelsea told him that she knew that he had gone to talk to their father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about the farm in Kansas; it was extremely run down and had become more than the one caretaker, who was advancing in age, was able to keep up properly.

Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) had wanted to go to the farm, but it was in such bad shape that they wound up staying in the little cottage that they had spent their honeymoon in instead. They talk about Adam and his well-meant intentions some more, but Nick just simply don’t trust Adam at all and he likely never will! Nick has seen too many things and too many times that Victor trusted Adam, and Adam proved every single one of those times that Victor’s trust had been misplaced, starting with the time Victor’s girlfriend, Sabrina Castellana (Raya Meddine) was killed and he went to Mexico.

When Victor was presumed dead while in Mexico searching for the men responsible for Sabrina’s death, Adam took over at Newman Enterprises, and fired all his siblings and installs Victor’s nemesis Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) in the company. Adam’s family was powerless to stop him after they discovered Victor left most of his possessions to Adam in his will.

Adam then plotted to frame Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for murder, but when Victor later appeared alive, Jack reversed the plot and Adam was framed for murder, resulting in his imprisonment. After Adam was brutally beaten by an inmate, Victor had the charges against his son dropped. No wonder Nick refuses to trust Adam!

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Can Hardly Believe That Nick Newman Would Be Suspicious Even Of A Complement!

Nick tells Chelsea that he doesn’t trust that the complement Adam gave him for doing such a good job at Newman taking over for their sister Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was for real! Chelsea can scarcely believe what she is hearing!

She tells him that all that Adam wants is to make peace with the family, and that he only wanted to help when he offered to take Victoria’s place in Newman Enterprises while she recovers from her serious stab wound suffered at the Newman Gala when Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) had mistaken her, in the dark with her back turned, for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).

Nick tells Chelsea that he seriously doubts that, and thinks that it is only a ploy for Adam to take the company out from under the rest of the Newmans like he had swindled Dark Horse out from under him! Chelsea defends Adam to Nick, and expresses that she is furious that Adam continually is treated like an outsider instead of a family member, and Nick shoots back that she is a different person when she is with Adam, and if she stays with him, she will only wind up being hurt, because that is what Adam does!
