Y&R Spoilers: Kelli Goss Lands A New Role
After leaving The Young and the Restless, Kelli went on to play the role of Heather on the popular Netflix series The Ranch, playing opposite Sam Elliot and Ashton Kutcher.
Now the popular actress had landed a new role in the CBS series The United States of Al. Kelli will be playing opposite Parker Young, Dean Norris and Adhir Kalyan as she returns to the CBS Network. She has recently starred in a new pilot episode of the show, which features a marine combat veteran, Riley (Parker Young), who is struggling to adjust to civilian life back in Ohio. It also covers his friendship with Awalmir aka Al (Adhir Kalyan), an interpreter who had served with his unit in Afghanistan and is trying to start a new life in America.
Goss will play the role of Vanessa, soon-to-be ex wife of Riley and the protective mother of their daughter. Vanessa is trying as hard as she can to co-parent their daughter with her unreliable ex-husband, who is more interested in partying and adrenaline junkie activities.

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Another Co-Star In United States Of Al
Kelli is not alone in joining the CBS series, as Elizabeth Alderfer (Disjointed, The Passage, Orange is the New Black and The Good Wife) is also joining United States of Al. Alderfer will play the role of Riley’s arty younger sister, Lizzie, who works for their father, Art (Dean Norris).
Lizzie has recently lost her fiancé who died in the line of duty. This leads to her drinking heavily and participating in Burning Man and the like, and her self-destructive tendencies bring her closer to her wild brother. Al finds it hard to understand Lizzie, who is like no other woman he ever met in Afghanistan.
Watch out for The United States of Al when it airs on the CBS network.
