TLC ’90 Day Fiance – Happily Ever After’ Spoilers: Colt & Jess Start To Make Up, Mommy Debbie Puts A Stop To It!

TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After” stars Colt Johnson and Jess Caroline start to make up, only to have Debbie Johnson stage a relationship intervention of sorts and break them up for good in an upcoming episode of “90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After!”

TLC 90 Finance’ Spoilers – Colt Johnson Caroline And Jess Had A Terrible Fight In Brazil Over His Friendship With Vanessa Guerra

Viewers will recall from previous episodes that Debbie Johnson plotted to break up Colt and Jess almost as soon as she met her and her family in Brazil, where they had traveled for the express purpose of for Colt, meeting Jess’ family, and for Debbie, meeting Jess and her family. Vanessa, Debbie’s friend, and Colt’s platonic female friend stayed in Las Vegas with their cats.

Jess wasn’t supposed to know anything about Vanessa taking care of the cats because Colt had previously told her he would break off the friendship with Vanessa and not have anything further to do with her. Debbie took the first chance to take advantage of Vanessa making a kitty status call to Debbie to let Jess know loud and clear that Vanessa was still a part of Colt’s life, playing innocent that she was a family friend of Debbie’s also – which she is – but the playing innocent part came in when Debbie pretended not to know that Jess had a problem with Colt having anything whatsoever to do with Vanessa, and that’s what she told Colt afterward.

Jess became so angry that she threw her spike heels at Colt, with his narrowly missing them as he ducked out of the way, and tried but failed to calm down a raging Jess! However, in the upcoming episode viewers will see that after a cooling down period, the couple tries to work things out – even though as Colt says in the sneak peek, they broke up and got together several times. And later, after they see each other again, at an airport, Debbie makes SURE they will never reconcile!

TLC 90 Finance’ Spoilers – Before Leaving Brazil, Colt Johnson Tries To Explain About Vanessa To Jess Caroline In A Better Way

Colt tells Jess that he didn’t tell her about Vanessa previously because she was just a friend, and that was it (even though he and Vanessa had slept together before his divorce became final from Larissa Dos Santos Lima). He reasoned with Jess, that if he wanted to have a romance with Vanessa, he would have – and what sense would it make to spend all that money to travel to Brazil or even to Chicago to see Jess? He told Jess he loves her, and admits that back in Brazil he had asked her father, Silvio, for permission to marry her!

Jess initially has a difficult time getting around the lying, but finally tells Colt she’s sorry about what happened; on a phone call where they decide to try to work things out and stay together – and they decide to meet at the airport before Colt and Debbie go back home. Of course, Debbie has to make sure her voice is heard and her silent “No Jess!” command is followed!

She starts needling Jess about hurting Colt, and clarifies to Jess that Colt and Vanessa talk to each other every day, several times a day, which of course negates Colt’s efforts to explain about Vanessa to Jess! Debbie tells Jess that just like Jess has male friends that are only friends, Vanessa is only a female friend to Colt, but focusing on the closeness of the friendship – usually, a person doesn’t talk every day several times a day to a platonic friend!

Then Colt wants some private time with Jess and Debbie stands some space away but clearly monitoring every move he makes and word he speaks, and keeps whispering to herself “Don’t propose Colt!” He tries to kiss Jess as Debbie continues to stare, making things more than awkward for the would-be couple, and she even tells the cameramen that Colt and Jess need to move on from each other! She then marches over and tells Colt they need to go before he can finish anything he is saying to or doing with Jess!

He is unlikely able to cement their relationship back together simply because of that interference on his mother’s part! Most fans agree that Debbie is way too controlling and interfering in her son’s life and loves!
