Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that after Victoria went to talk to her mother about Billy relapsing and refusing counseling – at least relapsing as far as Victoria was concerned – and wanting Victoria to accept him, faults and all and not try to change him as she does with her father – Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was irritated that Billy thinks Victoria gives Victor a free pass!

Later Victor arrived and Nikki and Victor talked about the problems Victoria is having with Billy. Victor hoped Nikki counseled Victoria to kick that punk to the curb, and he is tired of that juvenile delinquent punk hurting his daughter! He also had some proof of what he thinks is Billy having an affair with Amanda Sinclair, (Mishael Morgan) and found some other things out about Amanda as well! Victor had his investigators checking up on both Billy and Amanda!

Most Genoa City residents know better than to get on the bad side of Victor Newman, and Billy is no exception, but he just no longer cares. He is tired of stepping when others say step and standing still when others say to stand still and he just wants to be himself, flaws and all, without judgment. Truth be told, so do all human beings deep down, but when you’re surrounded by power players like Billy is, the only way to get along with them is to play to them and be what they expect you to be instead of being yourself; it’s sad but true!

Well, right now, Billy is decidedly on Victor’s bad side, and Victor will never let him forget it! He will more than likely tell Billy to never come near his daughter again, and that includes the children they have together, which is something Nikki warned Victor not to do, because it would hurt the children. But Victor might think that Billy might ultimately hurt the children as bad as he’s hurt Victoria, and he won’t stand for it!

He will also put Billy on notice that he’s put eyes on him, and on his “lover” Amanda, although the two of them are truly not lovers, it was only a friendship and she put a stop to it because of others misunderstanding their relationship and reading more into it than there was, and that included Billy himself!

Victoria is deeply hurt and cannot stay with Billy as long as he does not take his mental health seriously and seek counseling, and Billy views it as parts of himself that Victoria has failed to change, and he doesn’t want to change them!
