The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, January 4: Sharon’s Hair Loss Fears – Victor’s Affair Evidence for Victoria – Mariah Gets Fired

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 4, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will put his foot down. At the ranch, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) arrives looking for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the kids. Victor nixes the idea of a visit and makes it clear that Billy is no longer welcome there. He chews Billy out over Victoria’s heartache and forces him to leave.

Y&R Spoilers: Victor Newman Will Put His Foot Down

At Newman Enterprises, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) can tell Victoria’s dealing with some post-split sorrow. He brings Victoria up to speed on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) potential move to Paris. Nick wonders about Billy potentially leaving as well.

As for the upcoming Newman gala, Victoria has a hard time getting excited about it. She’s in a funk right now, so Nick tries to help. Next, Billy shows up and speaks with Victoria privately. He wants to see Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) and Katie Abbott (Sienne Mercuri), but Victoria reminds him that he has a black eye. Billy decides he’s willing to hold off on that visit.

Victoria heads back to the ranch, where Victor suggests he could help tell the children about the breakup. After Victoria rejects the offer, talks turns to Billy and Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) motel visits. Victor claims to have receipts, which prove they stayed at one together repeatedly. Of course, there must be some funny business going on since Y&R fans never saw these motel visits.

Victoria is disheartened since she wanted to believe Amanda and Billy were just friends. Victor’s info makes her feel naïve about the situation, but Victoria presses on. She sets up a meeting with Billy about how to handle things with the kids moving forward.

After a skating date, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) steam up a suite at the Grand Phoenix. Once they make love, Abby makes a call to fib about a dental appointment. Her employees aren’t buying it and send up a toothbrush with the room service. Chance and Abby eventually decide to delay their meal so they can enjoy more lovemaking.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is frustrated over how polite Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is being. She knows it’s because she has breast cancer. Phyllis is surprised since she didn’t know exactly what this crisis was about until now. Sharon just wants to be treated normally, so Phyllis eventually snarks a bit and tells Sharon her life would be boring without her.

At Nick’s house, Phyllis lets him know she’s in the loop on Sharon’s diagnosis. She feels all the feuding seems petty now; what Sharon’s up against has been a real wakeup call. Nick’s impressed by Phyllis’ compassionate side and fills her in on Sharon’s great medical team. Phyllis is eager to get back to being a thorn in Sharon’s side, which pleases Nick.

Back with Sharon, she takes a call about a forgotten hair appointment and gazes at her treatment papers. Once Sharon hangs up, she tries on a scarf to see what it would look like if she lost all her hair. At Society, Marah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) video chats with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), who can tell something seems to be bothering her. Tessa hates that she isn’t there in person and will fly home if Mariah needs her.

Mariah shuts down that idea and seems tempted to divulge something, but Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman) appears next to Tessa. He jokes about butting in and mansplaining their relationship. After the call wraps up, Tessa admits she’s concerned about how Mariah’s holding up due to her time away. Tanner suggests that it’s the downside of touring, but he does have good news.

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Tessa Porter Surprised Tanner’s Label Wants To Sign Her

Tessa’s taken aback to learn Tanner’s label wants to sign her. She’s grateful for the offer, but she has to ask if Tanner’s hoping they’ll reconnect. Tanner assures Tessa that they’ve moved on and he respects their friendship. Tessa determines that she’s at least willing to hear Tanner’s people out.

Back with Mariah, she talks to Lindsay (Kirby Blanton Bliss) the bartender about the secret that’s getting harder to keep. Lindsay lets Mariah know she’s there if she ever needs someone to listen. Afterward, Mariah is blindsided when Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) drops a Power Communications bomb. Devon’s shutting down the company since it just can’t sustain itself long-term.

Mariah gets the scoop at a table before returning to the bar, where she orders a stiff drink. The Young and the Restless spoilers say more trouble’s ahead, so don’t miss all the action.
