The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis and Abby Join Forces – Helps Victor Neutralize Adam

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) originally thought that she’d disposed of evidence that could have neutralized Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). But the memory stick Ordway’s character retrieved from Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) safe deposit box might not be gone.

Abby and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) orchestrated a ruse, as devoted viewers recall seeing during the last weeks of new Y&R episodes that aired in the late winter and early spring. Abby dressed as Phyllis, went to a bank where she had a safe deposit box, and took the last known piece of evidence that contained Adam’s admission of murder.

When new shows resume this month fans may see that vital pieces of technology reappear. With that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) ability to neutralize Adam would increase ten-fold.

Adam made a rather incredible decision earlier this year. He sent his childhood friend, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico), on a cloaked mission to Kansas. Doing so allowed him to gain information that appeared to link Victor to murder.

It seemed as though Victor had killed A.J. Montalvo (no actor’s name known for this role) and then covered up what happened. After acknowledging that his father was trying to protect Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) and himself, when he was a child, Adam decided to take advantage of the seeming protection Victor offered.

As it turned out, Victor didn’t kill A.J., Adam did. Grossman’s character refused to believe that happened, as he couldn’t recall the incident and felt it was impossible that he’d committed that act.

Y&R Spoilers – Newman Enterprises In Jeopardy

Adam thought Victor was purely trying to shift blame for what happened. He muscled the Moustache into temporarily relieving Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) of her duties as Chief Executive Officer at Newman Enterprises.

While Adam’s reign atop the family business lasted for approximately a day, this proved to be yet another incident where Victor reconfirmed his son’s duplicity, ingratitude, and complete lack of family loyalty.

Victor warned Adam not to push this issue, but he did and still hasn’t backed off. That plot point allows viewers to circle back to the digital evidence Phyllis initially possessed.

Phyllis and Abby don’t like each other. But they mutually detest Adam.

When last they were seen discussing this issue, Abby told Phyllis that she discarded the thumb drive. However, this is Genoa City, Wisconsin, which means it’s possible that what was thought to be lost can be found, or the devastating conversation Adam and Chance had in Vegas is recoverable in some other form.

Abby is loyal to her father. Phyllis wants to help Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who she recently reconnected with. Both ladies are adversaries, though they are still tied to each other at The Grand Phoenix hotel. But Abby and Phyllis can work together to reclaim the proof that’s needed to neutralize Adam.
