The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Is Worried About The Future While Adam Is Finally Feeling Content

Young & The Restless Spoilers - Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) & Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) didn’t have his fears calmed on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) offered heartfelt birthday gifts, which included a family photo of the good old days and another that was framed for tomorrow.

Later, after returning to the penthouse, Chelsea tried to tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that ‘Chadam’ was never going to happen again. But Nick’s brother brushed off her sibling rivalry talk and spoke of something much deeper.

He challenged the love of his life to admit her true feelings. Tellingly, Chelsea did not dispute that Adam was her first choice.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Remains Number Two

Adam still holds the top spot in Chelsea’s heart for reasons that are fully subjective. That’s what love is, rather than some objective fact that can be reasoned, discussed, or debated.

Nick feels that he’s going to lose Chelsea. Again, this is a subjective subject. In this instance, circumstantial facts show that ‘Chadam’ is and has always represented a deeper connection than ‘Chick’.

Y&R Spoilers – Connor Newman Is A Difference-Maker

There is a plot point that can be firmly stated. Actually, it’s represented in the form of a person and his name is Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Connor’s mental breakdown was sad. Immersed in far too much Newman-centric drama, Mackey’s frazzled character spun out in the fall. His decision to leap from a jungle gym, thinking he was indestructible like his father and grandfather, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), was all Adam needed to hear. Grossman’s character dropped his return-to-gambling plan and jetted back to Genoa City, Wisconsin, with Nick, who’d come to retrieve his detested brother.

As Connor’s troubles have deepened, Chelsea and Adam have felt powerless. But their togetherness during this crisis also appears to have reestablished their bond.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Cabin Blast Wasn’t A Choice

Devoted viewers and Nick know that the cabin blast wasn’t something Adam, or Chelsea chose. ‘Chadam’ also didn’t opt to end their marriage. Instead, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) blew up their lives due to her inability to quash her own quest for revenge at that time.

Adam knows that he has the above working for him, which is why he’s optimistic. Nick knows it too, which is why he’s fearful of tomorrow.

Chelsea never fell out of love with Adam. Upon having his memory restored, all Adam has been aiming for is the restoration of his family, meaning Chelsea and Connor.

‘Chick’ came after ‘Chadam’s’ first edition. Chelsea’s guilty feelings about leaving Nick in 2018, and distrust of Adam, upon his comeback in 2019, propelled her to be with Nick. But a new year has dawned and with it come the improving odds that ‘Chadam’ will be reborn.
