Speaking to Soaps In Depth in a new interview, The Young and the Restless executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith has this to offer: “A major scandal involving the Newmans will come to light. We will see the dynamics of the Newman family shift in unexpected ways. There will also be time for romance as new relationships are ignited.”

If that weren’t enough, it looks like the boat will be rocked over at the Abbott mansion, too. Griffith adds, “The Abbots will also be challenged by a power struggle at Jabot and the reveal of a long-buried family secret.”
