Lily and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) have been paired for a reason. Amanda was present immediately after Lily was able to gain a fortunate entrance into Alyssa’s room. Amanda, acting as Billy’s friend and again attorney, knows that she can use the suspicious nature of Alyssa’s presence in town, claim to be an eye-witness, and the glove intel, to cast doubt on Billy’s guilt.

Billy was heavily trending toward Amanda until Y&R shifted her plot path in Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) direction. Now, with Amanda set to gain new Christmas time information about her birth story, it seems that the bond with Devon will deepen.

So, Lily appears to be Billy’s clear romantic option. She’s the type of stabilizing force that he needs. Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) might not have known it when she paired her son and Lily at Chance Com, but that business connection opened the door to a renewed love bond.

Lily is currently primed to be the driving reason why Billy is able to have his name cleared, which seems likely in the not too distant future.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Linked Forever

Billy and Adam are forever linked because of what happened to Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono, who made a surprise return to the cast in a recent dream sequence). So, it’s fitting that Billy is entangled in the seeming revenge plot that Alyssa apparently is pursuing.

When Adam learns that Billy wasn’t taking a shot at him he should be relieved, or apologetic. But that’s not who Grossman’s character is.

Yes, the resolution to this arc won’t further a meeting of the minds. Instead, it will serve as another notch on each other’s grudge belt.
