The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Lily Accuses Victor, Believes He’s Behind Billy’s Legal Problems

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Lily believes something is not in the water, as she thinks that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) might be behind Bill Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) current legal mess. After Lily request a meeting with Victor at ChancComm, she gets right down to business by telling him that it makes no sense that Billy would try to shoot Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Young and the Restless executive producer Josh Griffith says that while Lily respects Victor a great deal, she has ever reason to believe that the truth is on her side. She is sure hoping that Victor wouldn’t stoop so low to frame Billy, knowing all too well that it would affect Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and his grandchildren.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Lily not only defends her man, but also adds that she believes the facts in this face has been carefully manufactures to make him look like he would do the dirty deed. Victor, of course, insists that the truth is on his side and that he has ever right to believe that Billy would try and kill his son.

Griffith puts it this way, “Victor is not shy about still being angry with Billy for his expose on the Newmans. Victor respects Lily’s loyalty and integrity. He stands his ground that he didn’t frame Billy but insists that doesn’t mean that Billy is innocent.”

With that said though, Lily is very quick to connect the dots that someone is trying to settle a score here by framing Billy.
