The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle and Lola’s Break Up Leads To Plot Twist

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Kyle never got over Summer. Huh? The breakup of Kola was predictable but loyal fans were bracing for a major three-alarm fire to bust out between Theo (Tyler Johnson) and Lola (Sasha Calle), not the former exes.

This whole new trajectory has come out of left field in the most amazing way and this fan is loving every minute of it.

What’s not to like? TPTB effectively pulled one over on us, something that’s hard to do among super savvy soap fans. I never saw Kyle (Michael Mealor) admitting that he was never over Summer (Hunter King) because of the smokescreen created by his obsession with Theo.

We were led to believe that Theo would be the home wreaker, not the sanctimonious Kyle.

And yet here we are, with Kyle hopping into bed with Summer the moment after he broke poor Lola’s heart. All along he was ranting and raving about Theo being a threat to his marriage, he never let on that he had feelings for Summer.

This is the best case of the pot calling the kettle black to come down the pike in a long time. Could it be possible that Kyle really was burying his feelings for Summer, and tricking himself into believing that he really loved Lola? He is only human after all. But his deception will no doubt ripple out in tiny waves that alter the lives of four people in jaw-dropping ways yet to come.

YR Spoilers – Will Lola Rosales be pregnant and by whom?

What can we expect to see as a result of this stupendously hypocritical act of Kyle’s? First off I hope he gets tons of lectures about being a false phony, accusing Theo of being a cad when he’s proven himself to be the biggest loser in the room.

Kyle has lost the love of a loyal, sincere woman in order to take up with a selfish diva who has broken his heart in the past. What in the world is he thinking?

Might some of the fallout be the fact that Lola has a bun in the oven?

More soapy fallout is possible if Summer also obtains a positive pregnancy wand after her quickie romp with her ex. It wasn’t that long ago that she was with Theo, was it?

Things will get a lot messier if Lola gives in to her attraction for bad boys, something she’s admitted to Mariah (Camryn Grimes), and sleeps with Theo.
