The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Joshua Morrow Opens Up About Nick’s Love Triangle With Chelsea And Adam

The Young and the Restless star Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) is opening up about his character’s messy love triangle between his ex, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and his half-brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

The actor says that while Nick will always love Chelsea, their quiet break up was something that needed to be done. Here’s what he has to say.

Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, the actor told the publication that at first, he believed that Nick and Chelsea’s break up made a lot of sense to him. He puts it this way, “These two absolutely love each other, but Chelsea was robbed of this beautiful relationship that she had with Adam. Nick was there to pick up the pieces, but he always knew that Adam was the one. Whether he is the one for her forever, that’s up to them to decide, but they never for the full relationship experience.”

Seeing how Nick loathes Adam with every bone in his body, it’s quite interesting to see Joshua Morrow speak so casually about his character’s break up with Chelsea and how he thinks the beautiful brunette deserves to have a relationship with perhaps one of the most manipulative men in Genoa City. But then again, it’s not like Chelsea doesn’t have a sketchy history too, right?

With that says, Joshua adds that one of the reasons why Nick let Chelsea goes is because he knows how important it was for little Connor to have both of his parents together. Now, how long their fairy tale of a relationship will last is anyone’s guess at this point.
