The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Has Been Noticing Friction Between Kyle Abbott And Theo Vanderway At Jabot

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that there has been some friction and one-upmanship going on at Jabot between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo even though Kyle has left Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and reconciled with Summer Newman, (Hunter King) and Theo and Lola are getting closer to coupling up!

The night of the ice storm they were all cooped up together overnight at Society, and when Theo and Kyle got to work, Kyle rejected every idea that Theo had, even though normally Theo would submit the ideas to Summer – she had not gotten to work yet, so he went to Kyle for approval for his ideas. Kyle seems to be jealous over Lola even though he left her for Summer, and Theo cannot help but notice! Lola has put Theo on a cool-down mode until she is properly divorced, but Kyle does not know this and doesn’t appreciate Theo cozying up to Lola.

Kyle says it’s because he is afraid that Theo will hurt Lola, but it couldn’t be any worse than what Kyle himself already has! Jack can see there is friction between the two when he sees them together, although he tries his best to put his boss hat on instead of his father hat or his uncle hat when at the workplace – but he decides he’d better keep an eye on them and tries his best not to be caught snooping on them! He can see the tension building between the two!

Y&R Spoilers – The Friction Between Kyle Abbott And Theo Vanderway Increases

The friction between Kyle and Theo increases, and pretty soon Kyle is intentionally trying to antagonize Theo and push his buttons! With Theo desperately trying to keep his hormones under control regarding Lola, and Kyle hiding his animosity towards Theo – or trying to, in front of Jack – things soon come to the boiling point between the two.

They don’t have to interact every single day since Theo can hide out in the marketing department of Jabot where he comes up with snazzy ideas to promote Jabot products on social media and act as a trendsetter and an influencer, but there are the common areas where they may run into each other – the breakroom, the halls, the men’s room, for instance.

There is also the boardroom, where departmental or interdepartmental meetings are sometimes held when debuting new products, programs, or procedures. Kyle simply does not trust Theo, with anything, or anyone, and feels like he has to keep his thumb on him – but he’d prefer to see him gone – gone from Jabot, and preferably gone from Genoa City, cousin or not!

But he doesn’t want to get flak from his father Jack by firing Theo even though he is over him and would have his right to do so. But there has to be a good reason – and starting a fight in an office, a breakroom or even the men’s room would do it! Jack comes in just at the right – or maybe that’s the wrong – moment to see Theo rushing at Kyle to give him a beating, but not knowing that Kyle started it! Of course, Kyle will lie to his own father to get rid of Theo, and Jack rushes quickly to grab Theo and hold him back from doing something he will regret!
