The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) isn’t interested in compassion regarding two potentially guilty people. He told his returned sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), that if her ex-husband, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and, or Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) are proven to be involved with Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) in the inheritance ruse, then he wants them to face full justice.
Lily’s stay in prison resulted from her horrific car accident that took the life of Hevon’s unborn child and days later, Hilary Hamilton (Morgan’s initial Y&R character). Khalil’s character was in the process of being written out of the show, as the actor voluntarily dropped to recurring status.
Efforts Lily made while in prison led to her obtaining a job where she now helps inmates transition back into the world. So, her own experience and that of helping others shaped the response to Devon.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily Winters Suggests Alternative Approach
Lily learned through a life-altering experience that punishment in prison isn’t necessarily the best way for all people to pay for their crimes. Achievement of redemption is something that she was striving for, appears to be achieving, and wants for others in similar positions.
Devon doesn’t see it that way. He reminded his sister that Cane has had multiple second chances through the years, which did force Lily to admit that he’d burned her.
However, Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) are Lily and Cane’s children. Lily is thinking mostly about the impact that would be made if the twins lost access to their father, for an extended period of time, if Cane is guilty and then Devon presses for a maximum sentence.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair’s Involvement Unclear
Viewers may feel that Amanda was likely not involved with Colin’s amoral and illegal deeds. But it is possible that she was, as this is a new character.
It would seem unusual for Y&R to create a new alter ego for Morgan to portray only then to have her sent to prison for years to come. That speculation alone is reason enough to believe that Amanda was duped by Colin.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Needs Answers
Devon remains rightfully unsettled about what’s happened. While the law didn’t require it, he opted to voluntarily give the bulk of his fortune to Cane and then Colin apparently stole it.
Answers are needed before any steps toward justice are even possible. Here’s hoping that neither Cane, who is still family despite Lane’s divorce, and Amanda aren’t guilty. Miss Sinclair is family too, as she’s almost surely to be revealed as Hilary’s identical twin sister in the nearing future, which would open a certainly epic storyline.
