The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Devon Follows Katherine’s Advice While Nate Stuck In The Middle

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has regained the ability to follow his grandmother’s advice. Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) left him the bulk of her estate and with that gift she intended for Devon to do good in Genoa City, Wisconsin, and he is.

The idea to start a medical clinic in the New Hope housing development that Devon is helping Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to create is one that the Grande Dame surely approves of as she looks down from above. In it Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will lead the efforts to ensure that local residents have access to health care and needed treatment.

Savvy soap fans also see the rub. Devon and Elena’s pairing has been going well, but Nate’s proximity to Elena surely provides an opportunity for a close relationship to develop.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Hevon Is Remembered With Fondness

Elena came into Devon’s life at the right time. Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) tragic passing crushed the soul of the surviving half of Hevon.

Morgan’s exit from the cast enabled a new romantic interest to develop over time. Sarpy’s solid acting chops has allowed her character to bond seamlessly with James’ alter ego.

As viewers recall, Elena helped Devon deal with the panic attacks he continued to have through last summer, when images of Hilary were seen in daytime hours and through nightmares. Then, Amanda Sinclair (Morgan’s new character), actually arrived in Genoa City, Wisconsin, which naturally upset Devon. Again, Elena proved to be his emotional elixir.

Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) unleashed a dastardly scheme when he used Amanda to front a challenge to Katherine’s will. That effort was revealed as a fraud over time, with his attorney included among those who were duped.

Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) took off after his father, in an attempt to learn what really happened. Apparently those efforts, along with the work of the authorities, resulted in Colin returning the inheritance. With it, Devon is now able to continue the business efforts and charity work that have become an important part of his life since Katherine’s passing in 2013.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Soapy Road Ahead Won’t Be Smooth

Daytime is about drama, not about smooth roads. So, the medical clinic will likely serve as a base for storylines that are linked to Elena and Nate’s efforts to serve their patients, as they become involved in their lives and each other’s.

Devon seems destined to eventually pair with Amanda, who surely must be Hilary’s identical twin. Possibly that’s why Elena and Nate have been written together at this point in the storyline, as their professional interests can also become more personal.
