The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Panics As Adam And Sharon Grow Closer

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) fears Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) as much as she does having Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) fully recall what happened in Kansas when he was eleven years old.

Sharon didn’t tell Chelsea that she suspected Adam had flown to Kansas when Egan’s character arrived at the cottage in a panicked state. Sharon called Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) after Chelsea left and took the provided Newman jet to Adam’s childhood home.

Did Adam kill A.J. Montalvo (no actor’s name known for this role), or not? That question still feels open.

Adam initially recalled pushing A.J. and then seeing him lying on the floor with his eyes open. The pool of blood seeping from the back of his head surely confirmed that he was dead, right?

A later flashback came in the form of a dream, with A.J. standing over Adam (with Dane West portraying the younger edition of this character and then Grossman replacing him moments later). Does that naturally create questions in the viewer’s minds as to who killed A.J.? It would be a plot stretch to reveal he’s still living, but that can’t be completely ruled out.

There seems to be no doubt that Adam was a witness to a terrible argument that A.J. and Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman) had. Hardcore viewers recall a different physical setup to the interior of Hope’s home, circa the 1990s. But fans know that they can’t be sticklers in this regard, as some soap settings can change without altering the believability of retrospective storylines.

Adam almost certainly confronted A.J., but whether he actually pushed him in the dining room, or if so, doing so caused a fatal fall is questionable. The emotion of those moments blocked the memory from his mind and still appears to be influencing his full recollection.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman Must Remain Involved

Chelsea’s miraculous arrival at the farm meant that she too may have flown on the just-returned Newman Jet to from Wisconsin to Kansas. She could have chartered another private plane, or flew commercial. However she did it, Chelsea appeared in the dining room just as Adam ended his heartfelt conversation with Sharon and left the room.

Sharon’s explanation of Adam’s breakthrough didn’t register in Chelsea’s mind. Her heart was ruling, as she wanted to keep the love of her life safe and their relationship, which includes Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) intact. But the rapid progress Sharon’s initial therapy session triggered means that she must remain involved in his case now, as her importance in his life is reaffirmed.
