The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Considers Connor’s Future – Chooses Chloe To Raise Her Son?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is going to have a tough time on her hands. As Y&R viewers know, Chelsea has been complaining of headaches ever since her fall in the elevator at the Chancellor Communications building on the evening that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) had the power in the building cut off.

Well, soon the situation will get much more serious than headaches. According to Y&R spoilers, Adam will return home to the penthouse to find Chelsea in a heap on the floor after having collapsed. It’s going to be a terrifying situation, and the end result will be that Chelsea will be diagnosed with an alarming condition. Exactly what that condition is remains to be seen, but it could be related to her fall in the elevator.

For example, Chelsea could have sustained a traumatic brain injury that went undetected and worsened over time. Another possibility is that Chelsea has a brain tumor, which would be a potentially deadly condition. At any rate, Chelsea may have to at least consider the possibility that she could die, and that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) could be left without a mother.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Help In Raising Chelsea Newman’s Son

That’s probably going to be a terrifying thought for Chelsea, who will want to make sure that her son is taken care of in the event of her death. Chelsea knows Adam very well, and while she knows that Adam loves Connor very much, she’ll probably also know that Adam has a tendency to spiral every once in a while, and that he might need some help in raising their son.

We might see Chelsea turn to her good friend Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for help in this situation. Chloe and Chelsea have recently been on the outs after Chloe forced Chelsea to choose between their friendship or Adam, but it seems that both of them want to get past that. Might Chelsea ask Chloe to step in and take care of Connor in the event that something happens to her? That would seem reasonable given Chloe and Chelsea’s friendship.

Y&R Spoilers – One Problem

There would be just one problem. If Chloe agrees to care for Connor, then that would mean that she and Adam would be co-parenting Connor together, which could be a bit awkward. Considering that Chloe can’t stand Adam and that she shot him in the past, that could be an untenable situation. Yet who else would Chelsea ask to look after Connor? Only Chloe really makes sense.

We’ll see what happens here, but Chelsea may get to the point soon where she has to start making decisions like this, and she’s going to want to make sure that Connor is in good hands if something happens to her.
