‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Chadam Experiencing Real Reunion – Connor Still Unsteady

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are both sincere regarding their personal reunion. Yes, Chadam is back and likely for an extended run.

Both parents remain concerned about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), however. He’s been better recently, but still recoils when thinking about the hostage-taking situation.

Thankfully, he’s been cleared to return to Walnut Grove Academy. But more love and guidance will be needed by his just-reunited parents.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chadam Then And Now

The initial edition of Chadam was memorable, as Michael Muhney (Adam) and Egan collaborated to create a dynamic pairing in the early to mid part of the last decade. Justin Hartley (Adam) assumed the role in 2014 and also teamed with Egan to continue the love story in what became a softer version of this couple.

Egan’s serious acting chops continue to be affirmed as she’s now working smoothly with the latest Adam, who is played by Grossman. This inside baseball point should be stressed, as Egan’s professional dexterity is evidenced through the seamless efforts she’s made with three solid actors, each of whom project(ed) different interpretations of the role to viewers.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chick Was A Placeholder Both Times

While Chick appeared to be on good-footing, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) sensed something was off for awhile. Part of his angst regarding his brother included the dread in knowing that Chelsea’s love for Adam never died.

The reunited Chick happened because Chelsea rejected Adam’s initial calls for reconciliation last year. So Nick, who was the initial fallback option after Hartley’s Adam supposedly died in the cabin explosion in September 2016, became her second, choice last summer.

Egan’s character felt guilty because she left Nick, without warning, in early 2018. Nick’s quick forgiveness made him a pushover, with him eventually realizing that he was a place-holder for his brother. However Chick did part as genuine friends.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Clean Start In New Year

Adam has been patient, while pressing for a reunion. His unAdam approach, along with the paternal devotion he’s been offering to Connor caused Chelsea’s doubts to slowly disappear.

She now believes that Adam has reverted to the man she once loved. Whether their love will persist is questionable, considering Adam’s penchant for stirring trouble, which then creates issues for those he’s connected to.

But, for now, Connor is Chadam’s focus as Chelsea and Adam reclaim their family life.
