Kyle is on top of the world at the moment. He’s reunited with his true love Summer Newman (Hunter King) and he’s co-CEO of Jabot. With Summer’s help, the two are taking Jabot to the next level when it comes to business.

However, Kyle and Summer’s romance could affect their work life.

Y&R viewers pointed out that Kyle and Summer skipped work a lot. The couple often takes a day off to sneak off to a hotel for a rendezvous.

While Kyle and Summer want to make up for lost time after being kept apart for so long, their afternoon romps could cost them their jobs.

Kyle’s dream has always been to run Jabot, and he worked hard to prove to his father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that he was ready to handle a big responsibility. Jack decided to make his son co-CEO and so far Jack’s been impressed with the way Kyle’s running things.

However, that may change soon.

Kyle’s job seems to have taken a backseat since his focus is mainly on Summer. Even when the two are supposed to working at the office, they can’t keep their hands off each other.

With Kyle more focused on spending time with Summer, he’ll neglect his tasks as CEO. If Jabot starts to suffer because of Kyle’s actions, Jack’s going to have to step in.

Jack loves his son and tries to be supportive of all his decisions. Even though he was worried about Kyle and Summer moving too fast in their relationship, he gave them his blessing. But with their romance affecting the company, Jack’s going to have to intervene.

Choosing between Summer and Jabot is going to be a big decision for Kyle. He loves Summer with all his heart and she’s always been the one for him. They’ve been kept apart by a lot of circumstances, but now that they’re back together, he’s vowed never to let her go.

While Kyle loves Summer, he also loves his job at Jabot. A lot of people doubted his ability to be CEO, but he’s shown he’s a smart businessman and deserves the position. Yet, everything he’s worked hard for may be taken away from him.

Whatever Kyle decides, he’s going to be left heartbroken and it’s going to have a huge impact on his and Summer’s relationship.
