Given Adam’s past misdeeds, many feel that he’s not the right man for Sharon. After kidnapping her baby and making Sharon believe Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) was dead, viewers were angry that he’d go on to marry Sharon while keeping his secret.

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Newman Has Forgiven Adam Newman

While many still aren’t able to forgive Adam for his actions, Sharon managed to find it in her heart to forgive him. Like Adam, Sharon has her flaws and is constantly criticized by others. She’s been given plenty of second chances and has turned her life around. She believes the same can happen for Adam.

Even though everyone has given up on him, Sharon believes that deep down inside there’s some good in him. That is one of the reasons why she’s helping Adam in his search to discover secrets from his childhood.

Although Sharon is currently battling cancer, she agreed to help Adam when he asked her to be his therapist. Sharon’s boyfriend Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and ex-husband Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) aren’t happy with the idea of her working with Adam. But Sharon’s assured them she’ll be fine.

Yet, fans know before long that old spark will reignite.

Sharon has stated that she’ll be a friend to Adam, but nothing more. As she’s explained, they’re no good for each other and Adam brings out the worst in her. She’s moved on and has a good life with her family and Rey.

Meanwhile, Adam’s reunited with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and the pair plan to be a family with their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Even though Adam’s claimed Chelsea is the love of his life, many believe Sharon is his true love.

Sharon and Adam will be spending more time together as they delve into his past. As Sharon helps Adam make progress, her feelings for him will start to resurface. Yet, her desires could end up costing her.

When Sharon’s family learns about her feelings for Adam, they’ll be upset. They know the damage he causes to those close to him, and they don’t want Sharon to get hurt again. Rey, Nick, and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will intervene and try to stop Sharon from making a mistake.
