CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers and rumors indicate that a reunion may be taking place between Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

When Y&R viewers last saw Sharon, she was beginning treatment for breast cancer. Sharon fears for the worse, but she has the support of her boyfriend Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and her daughters Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind).

Sharon’s ex-husband Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has also stood by her side as she faces the toughest challenge of her life.

While everyone is showing their support for Sharon, fans have noticed one person missing and that’s Adam.

Adam has been busy in his ongoing war with his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). So far Adam’s been so focused on his revenge plot that he doesn’t know what’s going on with Sharon. But that’s about to change.

It won’t be too long before Adam learns of Sharon’s breast cancer diagnosis, and he’ll rush to her side. While Rey, Nick, and the rest of Sharon’s family won’t be happy with him around; Sharon’s going to welcome all the support she can get.

Shadam as the pair are often referred, are one of Y&R’s most popular, yet controversial couples. Adam has done a lot to cause other people pain, including his ex-wife Sharon. Yet, Sharon found it in her heart to forgive Adam and believes he can change if he wants to.

When Adam returned to Genoa City last year, Sharon was his only friend. It looked like a reunion was going to take place, but the storyline was dropped. Sharon stayed with Rey, and Adam reunited with his ex-wife Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

But with the recent turn of events, a Sharon and Adam reunion could be on the way.

Learning about Sharon’s battle with cancer could be a wake-up call for Adam. All his life he’s been filled with nothing but the hatred that’s sent him on a destructive path. But seeing someone he loves going through this ordeal will make him change his perspective. Adam will realize life is too short, and the time shouldn’t be spent fighting with his family.

Sharon’s situation could finally get Adam on the path to redemption as he tries to form a bond with his father.

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Not Liking Adam Newman’s Attitude

However, Chelsea may not like Adam’s new attitude. She’s been the biggest supporter in his fight against Victor, now all of a sudden his change of heart is going to cause issues. Especially when Chelsea learns Sharon was the inspiration behind Adam’s change.

For years, Chelsea has had to live in Sharon’s shadow. Even though Adam says Chelsea’s love of his life, Sharon is always the one he runs to. Sharon’s always going to part of Adam’s life, which is something Chelsea continues to struggle with.

With Adam reconnecting with Sharon amidst her cancer battle, this is going to cause old feelings to resurface.

The question is whether the two will acknowledge their feelings and set up a Shadam reunion.
