The Young And The Restless (Y&R) spoilers show Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) realization that she must explore her backstory will tie into Genoa City’s Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) shifting feelings. Skipping ahead in plot time, Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) involvement, at whatever level, with Amanda’s search and the inevitable reveal that will expose Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate will prove highly disruptive.

Devon’s perceived strong relationship with Elena will be immensely tested and Amanda’s trust in Nate will be broken. A quick couple’s switch is in the offing as both factors collide.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily Winter’s Heartfelt Admission Counts

Amanda felt for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who told one of her own backstories. As viewers recall, Lily was driving Hilary Hamilton (Morgan) two summers ago when she accidentally ran a red light.

Lily was distracted by an argument she was having with Hilary, while Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) sat in the backseat of the vehicle. Hilary’s unborn child died as a result of the injuries she suffered when an oncoming truck hit the passenger side of Lily’s vehicle. Hilary died days later as well, following a heart-tugging series of goodbyes.

The details Lily offered to Hilary’s just-revealed, surviving identical twin sister served as a sort of bonding session with Amanda. That is one positive element within this otherwise ominous storyline.

Y&R Spoilers – Confirming Truth In The Near Future

Amanda’s run-in to Devon at Society was pleasant. She told him about the conversation with his sister and how it made her decide to pursue unknown intel.

As viewers know, a number of unresolved issues have been raised regarding why Amanda was given up for adoption, but Hilary wasn’t. Rose Turner (Leslie Stevens) is believed to be Hilary and Amanda’s mother. That plot point will need to be confirmed, along with hopefully identifying who the women’s father is, or was.

Devon’s sister-in-law will likely be able to provide details that may add to Hilary’s backstory, rather than just her own, whenever the private investigator she hires is able to confirm the truth. Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) would seem to be an ideal candidate for this job, considering his hire through Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) won’t be immediate.

Amanda wants to know what happened after her birth, which hopefully includes as many details as possible about her parents, Hilary, and any other connected family members. So, Devon was actually given a road map to what’s to come through his brief conversation with Amanda.

Here’s hoping that whatever develops doesn’t necessarily lead to the end for Devon and Elena, or for Amanda and Nate. While each couple is at different stages in their relationships, the pairings have positive potential.
