The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers hint that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may be willing to throw anyone under the bus if it means getting what he wants. Adam has recently run into a childhood friend who he reconnected with. However, it did not take long for Adam to use his friendship to get what he wanted; in this case, he wants the CEO position at Newman. This leads to the question of if Adam values friendship or if he just sees it as a way to get what he wants?

To answer the question, we will have to look over Adam’s recent actions and relationships. Adam has not had the best interactions involving his family, and it has been a bumpy road between him and his family. He even tried to kill his father by messing with his medication. However, recently, when he found out that Victoria had been stabbed, he seemed to care about his sister and even offered to take over the company temporarily. However, after being told that he would not be getting the position, he swore that he would get revenge, and when he bumped into Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico), his childhood best friend, he decided that he would use the information he learned from her to get back at his father.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers- Adam Turns on Family and Friends

It is clear that he would have had to plan to use his childhood friend from the very start. This shows that even friends that he grew up with are not immune to being used by Adam. This makes sense since Adam does not mind double-crossing his own family if he feels so inclined to do so. For example, he seemed to care about Victoria’s wellbeing when she was stabbed, but when he saw that Victoria was in the office and ready to go back to work, he still went after the company as well as mocked her about it.

This shows that Adam is willing to turn his back on anyone who he feels like he can get something from, but he will also turn his back on his family as well. What do you think?
