The Young and The Restless News Update: Lauralee Bell Stars In New Lifetime Project

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine Williams is set to star in a new Lifetime project. She will appear in the first installment of the series, Ruby.

The movie series event features the Landry family with Naomi Judd (The Killing Game), Crystal Fox (Tyler Perry’s A Fall From Grace), twins Raechelle Banno (Pandora) and Karina Banno (The Letdown), Gil Bellows (Patriot), and Deborah Cox (Influence) part of the cast.

The series is centered on Ruby Landry who was raised by her grandmother in the Louisiana bayou. Ruby is in for a shock when she discovers that she has another family living in New Orleans. The aftermath of her discovery leads to dark family secrets and betrayal.

Ruby Landry is played by Raechelle Banno. The title character was born in the bayou and raised by loving grandma Catherine. In the beginning, Ruby is happy as she embarks on a romance with her high school sweetheart Paul Tate. Still, she has thoughts of her mysterious father and her mother’s death which often cloud her mind. She just can’t sweep these images out of her mind and there is a reason why!

Paul’s parents forbid him from seeing Ruby and slowly dark family secrets begin to reveal themselves. When Ruby’s grandma dies she is even more devastated and alone.

Ruby is forced to flee to New Orleans from her bayou home, and once there she begins a search for her estranged father. It turns out the man is one of the richest men in the city.

At the same time, her current mystery is unraveling, Ruby can’t help but think of Paul and what might have been.

Along with the way, fans will all also see Sam Duke, Ty Wood, Serge Houde, Liza Huget, Mason Temple, Ducan Ollerenshaw, Paula Giroday, Marc-Anthony Messiah, Veena Sood, Bob Frazer, Eric Vincent, and Caroline Yonge as part of the series cast.
