The Fury Of Royal Fans – Meghan And Harry Should Be KICKED From Queen’s Commonwealth Trust

Why in the world should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to preside as high-ranking officers of various British charities that are normally reserved for senior members of the British Royal Family?

That’s the question that an increasing number of fans of the monarchy are asking themselves following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the United Kingdom. Why should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have the opportunity to act as if they still are worthy of this honor even though they intentionally “stepped down” from their roles within The Firm?

Because those questions haven’t been adequately answered, fans throughout the U.K. and the Commonwealth nations (and to a lesser degree in America) are hitting out at Meghan and Prince Harry. Their fury can be seen in the Twitter tirades and other social media postings condemning Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for continuing to be a part of Royal life even though they’ve purposely moved to the United States in order to presumably pursue a life of fame and fortune.

Fans of the Monarchy Lash Out At Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

It’s safe to say that many fans of Queen Elizabeth feel that the entirety of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s actions over the past few years have been disrespectful to the Crown. It’s a slap in the face then, to all true monarchists that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to have been (and continue to be) coddled.

For example, a Commonwealth fan of Queen Elizabeth furiously Tweeted out that, “I live in a Commonwealth country and I find it abhorrent that they are Pres and VP of QCT. I don’t think H and M give a toss about the commonwealth. They couldn’t leave Canada fast enough to get to California. Said we had a racist past and now are sucking up to the Queen?”

Another suggested that “Given their direction of travel, it is absolutely unbelievable that the Markles today remain President and Vice President of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust. If the British Crown does not deal with this now, the damage to the institution will be cataclysmic. This is very serious.”

Someone else wrote in outrage, “Markle’s video message yesterday was highly political. She is using millions of dollars provided by the Royal Family to campaign politically. This has never happened before, and could easily signal the end for Royalty if it carries on.”

However, despite anger from the public, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear not to be affected one bit. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own, social circles that only those who live in ivory towers seem to run in. Moreover, Queen Elizabeth may be passing on to the Great Beyond in the not too distant future considering her age. Even if she were inclined to punish Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for their hypocritical excesses and clear desire to leave the monarchy behind (yet still hold the Crown’s apron strings), Prince Charles doesn’t seem bothered by the couple’s behavior.

It’s not likely then that Buckingham Palace will be paying much attention to the ire of the unwashed British and Commonwealth masses.

Backlash Follows Meghan Markle Getting Political

Many feel that the public wouldn’t feel so betrayed or outraged by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s behavior if the couple was truly acting on their own without ties to the Monarchy. However, certain things are expected of British Royals and Meghan Markle especially has been quite obviously lacking in respect for deeply held tradition.

The thought goes like this, “If Meghan Markle wants to be political and come down hard on one side of America’s political divide, fine. However, she mustn’t be involved in foreign politics while representing the British Monarchy in any fashion whatsoever. If she does and is defiantly thumbing her nose at Buckingham Palace, she casts Britain and the Monarchy in a bad light. That cannot be allowed and therefore, if she continues, Meghan Markle must be stripped of all Royal titles.”

In other words, fans believe Meghan Markle must be held to the same standards as any other British Royal.
