However, now that Thomas is out of the picture, Carter will decide to pursue Zoe, which may lead to the two grow closer to one another. However, there may be trouble ahead for the prospective couple as Zoe may suspect that she might be carrying the baby of Thomas. She may begin feeling sick and showing the symptoms that would suggest that she may be pregnant.

When Zoe finds out that she might be pregnant, it may be possible that she will try to hide this, especially from Thomas, who may pop back up in town. Thomas may make his way back to town around the time or before Zoe finds out that she is pregnant. When Thomas comes back in town, he may try to get Douglas back, which might worry Zoe, who will not want Thomas to be a part of her child’s life after seeing the way that he treated Douglas. However, how long might she be able to keep the pregnancy a secret? It would be interesting to see how this storyline might play out or how Thomas would react to the idea that Zoe might be pregnant.
