The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Wednesday, January 8: Liam Storms Out When Hope Won’t Give Up Douglas – Thomas Flips Out Over Marriage Proposal

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, January 8, tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will get an earful from her father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). As B&B viewers know, Ridge has long thought that Steffy belongs with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). He has largely kept his opinions to himself over the past couple of years, largely out of respect to his wife, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Ridge never liked it that Liam took up with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), and he’d much rather than Liam was romantically involved with Steffy, and that Liam was around as a full-time dad to Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington). Well, it seems that on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Ridge will take the opportunity to tell Steffy how he really feels, and that he thinks that she and Liam should be together.

Of course, it probably won’t come as a surprise to Steffy that Ridge is “team Steam,” but she’ll probably let her father know that she and Liam just aren’t meant to be. After all, Liam has chosen to be with Hope, and she and Kelly have to go on and do the best they can.

B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer’s Ultimatum Doesn’t Go Over Well

Meanwhile, on Wednesdays’ new episode of B&B, it looks like things aren’t going to go so well with Liam’s big marriage proposal to Hope. As B&B viewers know, Liam just asked Hope to marry him, but his proposal had a big stipulation attached to it – Liam asked Hope to completely cut Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) out of her life.

Liam wants nothing more than to move forward with Hope and become a happily married couple, but he’s realized that he just can’t keep on living their lives with Thomas as a central part of it. Liam wants Hope to end her collaboration with Thomas at work. That means that Thomas wouldn’t be able to be the designer for Hope’s line, and that she would almost certainly lose all funding for Hope For The Future.

Liam also wants Hope to stop co-parenting with Thomas, which would unfortunately mean that she could no longer be a legal guardian to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). And it looks like that will be a deal breaker for Hope, who seemed utterly shocked that Liam would even suggest that she give up Douglas.

However, it seems that Liam is serious about his proposal. He wants to be a family with Hope and Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez), in a completely Thomas-free zone. And that would necessarily mean that it would also need to be a Douglas-free zone as well.

The Bold & The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Logan Won’t Agree To Liam Spencer’s Terms

B&B spoilers say that Hope’s reaction to Liam’s proposal will not be what Liam wants to hear. It seems that she’ll either say no, or she’ll hesitate enough for Liam to figure out that she’ll never agree to his terms. At any rate, Liam will say that he just can’t do this anymore, and he’ll storm out of the cabin, leaving Hope devastated.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Reels Due To Liam Spencer’s Terms

It also appears that Thomas will find out about the terms attached to Liam’s marriage proposal, and he won’t be happy about it. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Thomas will flip out when he realizes that Liam is trying to eradicate his existence in Hope’s life. Of course, Thomas has worked very hard to ensure that he can remain in Hope’s life.

Thomas has even gone so far as to start a new relationship with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to “prove” to Hope that he’s no longer obsessed with her. Of course, B&B viewers now that it’s just a big ruse designed to get Hope to agree to keep working with him at Forrester Creations. But now, Thomas will realize that Liam could be tearing him away from Hope, and he’s not going to be amused.
