The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that in Los Angeles Thomas Forrester is really struggling mentally. Actor Matthew Atkinson told Soap Opera Digest that the designer is trying to get a grip, but the mental illness is too strong. He uses every ounce of energy and strength trying to stay coherent. Exhausted and in significant pain, Thomas may give in and let madness take total control.

B&B spoilers reveal that Thomas is going through the motions to make it appear that everything is just fine. Most people don’t really notice anything except that he’s distracted, moody, and seems “out of it” sometimes. The only people who suspect something isn’t quite right is Dr. John Finnegan aka “Finn” (Tanner Novlan) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

Atkinson told SOD in a recent interview that Thomas is really struggling to stay coherent. However, it is taking every ounce of energy and all of his strength. He is utterly exhausted and it doesn’t show any signs of easing up. So, when Thomas tells people that he’s just tired or isn’t sleeping well, it’s partially true. He does have profound exhaustion, but it’s not his sleep that’s the problem. It’s his mental health, which is disintegrating more each day.

Liam Spencer Continues Spreading Hopelessness

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) confronted Thomas. He demanded answers after Finn shared a concerning conversation, in which Thomas said Hope was giving him signs. Now, we understand that Liam is angry, worried, and frustrated. However, he shouldn’t have barged into an apartment that wasn’t his. Knowing that Thomas has a history of being mentally unstable, Liam should not have kept egging him on. He’s actually lucky Thomas was too tired to do anything.

At the same time, Thomas was clearly looking extremely tired and a bit hopeless. Almost like he just didn’t care anymore. Liam may not realize it, but he actually pushed Thomas even further into despair. It’s kind of the same thing that Liam did to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) during her addiction storyline.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Psychosis Gets Worse

Atkinson teased to the magazine that Thomas is trying to stay coherent and sane. However, he is barely keeping his head above water. He doesn’t realize what is happening to him and it’s going to get much worse.

“Thomas is getting in so far over his head that he doesn’t recognize what’s really going on. He’s just trying to keep his head above water. I think Thomas is in significant pain dealing with what’s happening in front of him. He is struggling to stay coherent…”
