When Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) tries to take care of Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray), Steffy lashes out and accuses her of trying to steal another one of her daughters. B&B spoilers reveal that Steffy was deeply traumatized by the “PhoeBeth” situation. She adopted a baby girl, bonded with her, and was raising the child. Then, she had to hand her over when Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) told her Phoebe was really Hope’s baby. It is not something that anyone could get over, no matter how strong they are.

Even though Steffy doesn’t talk about Phoebe, she has never left her mind or heart. This will come into play when Hope tries to help Steffy care for Kelly.

B&B Spoilers: Hope Logan’s Intention

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Noelle explained that Hope really just wants to help Steffy during her time of need. She understands that Steffy has broken ribs and a sprained back. She knows that Steffy will try to handle everything herself and that caring for a baby could make recovery take longer. So, she thinks that Kelly should spend the night with them and give Steffy a bit of a break.

Steffy Forrester Flips Out

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Steffy doesn’t take kindly to Hope’s “help” and lashes out at her. She straight-up accuses Hope of trying to steal Kelly. Viewers know that part of this comes from having to hand Phoebe/Beth over to Hope. However, the way that Steffy reacts sets off alarm bells in Hope’s mind.

Noelle also told the publication that the extreme way that Steffy reacts is what makes Hope suspicious. The actress explained,

“At this point, Hope is cautiously suspicious because things just aren’t lining up. It’s an extreme reaction she has, given the circumstances. It’s unlike Steffy, who is usually so composed and so strong, to show that vulnerability and insecurity. She hasn’t come to any conclusions, but she certainly is concerned.”
