While Quinn’s advice hasn’t been good to-date, she is right about one point. Shauna can likely kiss any chance of a lasting connection with Ridge goodbye if she does tell him the truth.

No matter what results, Ridge deserves to know what really happened. How he comes to realize reality will be vital.

He has no recollection of texting Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) because that never happened. Kaye’s character doesn’t remember getting married because he was highly inebriated. He shoulders the blame for that happening, as he could have said no to Shauna’s partying plans. But it’s fair to note that Ridge was in a very vulnerable state of mind at that time and was easily persuadable.

There’s no doubt that Ridge will be furious if Shauna openly admits what happened. He’ll surely think that she betrayed his trust in order to sabotage reconciliation plans with Brooke.

Ridge and Brooke have experienced nuptials that were non-Bridge related. They’ve loved others sincerely, but not as much as they have each other.

As Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) mentioned to Brooke, the love story with Ridge is legendary. B&B fans know that tale is not over and that Shauna appears to be a rebound distraction which could end very soon.

Quinn’s hope to create a legitimate California wedding ceremony is based on desperation. Shauna knows Sofer’s character has her best interests in mind, but actually cares about Ridge. Viewers will soon see if Shauna’s need to do what is right results in a heavy admission, or if the truth comes out some other way.
