The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers: Rena Sofer Welcomes New Addition To Her Family

The COVID-19 situation may have limited social face-to-face interactions, but a soap star is making some fun progress. The Bold and the Beautiful actress, Rena Sofer (Quinn Forrester) is excited to add a new member to her family. Amid the coronavirus widespread, she announced via Instagram that she has adopted a new fur baby into her family.

With a picture of the adorable dog, she wrote, “Since we are shut in we decided to foster a dog in need. We don’t have a name for her yet. She is an older chihuahua. My dogs are super territorial but they seem to be putting up with her so… anyone out there wanting to help can always foster while quarantined and who knows many you will fall in love.”

In her comment section, she let her followers know that while she may not be the one to make a permanent decision it’s her husband who not let the dog go. He would allow her to become a permanent member of their family. Her followers congratulated her and supported her and her family with this amazing decision.

One follower wrote, “Thank you for sharing this Rena. We are also a loving dog family and I’m going to check our local shelter and see what we can do to help as well. Thank you for always setting the example and caring for animals. Much love from a big fan in Portland Oregon, take care (of) you and your family during this tough time”. Sofer has become an integral part of the CBS daytime drama, she is the Forrester matriarch who is married to John McCook’s Eric Forrester.

B&B Spoilers – Secret Kiss

Her character has been placed an integral story with the revelation of the secret kiss between Bill (Don Diamont) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Look for that drama to unfold this week. Sofer also played Lois Cerullo on General Hospital. The character was paired with Wally Kurth’s Ned Ashton Quartermaine who is her ex-husband in real-life.

She is the mother of Brook Lynn (now played by Amanda Setton). Sofer won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her portrayal of the ABC daytime soap opera. She won Outstanding Younger Actress in 1995 and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a drama series in 1995.
