The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers & Recap Friday, August 28: Brooke & Shauna Face Off – Katie Tells Bill They’re Over

CBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Friday, August 28, reveal that Shauna Forrester (Denise Richards) and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) waited together downstairs at the Forrester mansion. Shauna told Quinn that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was upstairs with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and that they probably weren’t having a civil discussion.

Quinn was pleased, but Shauna still worried that things could work out with an unfavorable end for her. Quinn thought that Shauna should relish the moment and forget about Brooke.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Gives Ridge Forrester A Chance To Explain

Meanwhile, up in Ridge’s room, Brooke said that she was going to give Ridge a chance to explain what happened and why Shauna was sitting on his bed earlier. Ridge fumed that he thought they had put Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) behind them, but that he heard Brooke say that she’d always love Bill. Ridge just couldn’t deal with Brooke loving the person he despises most in the world.

Brooke urged Ridge to come home and talk about this, but Ridge wouldn’t budge. Ridge continued to grump about Bill and what he had done to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and to Katie Logan (Heather Tom). “Go to him, get out,” Ridge barked. Brooke insisted that she didn’t want to be with Bill, and she couldn’t understand why they were fighting again.

Brooke left the room upset, and she walked downstairs where she found Shauna alone. Brooke accused Shauna of lying in wait for HER husband. Shauna didn’t take the bait and remained calm and stoic, calmly saying that Ridge actually came to her tonight. Shauna told Brooke to take a deep breath and remember who she was talking to.

Brooke ranted about the night that Ridge got drunk at Bikini Bar, and about Ridge and Shauna’s drunken trip to Las Vegas. Brooke tried to taunt Shauna by saying that Ridge didn’t remember their wedding night, but Shauna stated that Ridge came to her tonight and that he wasn’t drunk. Shauna said she loved Ridge, and that she was the woman he wanted to be with.

Shauna went on, saying that she’d give Ridge the joy and fulfillment that Brooke couldn’t, and then Brooke lashed out and called Shauna “the slut from the desert.” Shauna still didn’t take the bait and remained calm, saying that Ridge wasn’t Brooke’s husband and that their marriage was over. Brooke fumed that Ridge didn’t love Shauna. “He loves me and always will, and there’s not a thing you can do about that.”

Upstairs in Ridges room, Ridge held the annulment papers in his hands and sat on the bed alone, flashing back to all the recent events of late – seeing Brooke and Bill kissing, the Vegas drunk fest, reuniting with Brooke, finding out he married Shauna, and hearing Brooke declare her love for Bill.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Katie Logan Talks To Bill Spencer

Next, over at Spencer Publications, Katie asked Bill if he meant it when he told Brooke that he loved her. Bill didn’t really answer, and Katie got the picture. Katie wondered what happened – did she take too long to want to reconcile? Bill said that his feelings for Katie haven’t changed. “Neither have your feelings for my sister, and you needed to tell her that,” Katie said.

Katie went on, saying that Bill tells her that he loves her in one breath and then breaks her heart in the next. Bill said that he couldn’t deny what happened, but that it didn’t mean that he didn’t love Katie. Katie said that she knew that Bill loved her, and that’s what made this so hard. Katie said that she loved Bill, but that she couldn’t let Bill hurt her anymore.

“I’m so devastated for our son,” Katie said. “If you can tell Brooke the truth, we should be able to tell our son the truth. And the truth is we’re over.” Katie left, with Bill calling after her.
