Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, actress Rena Sofer, who plays Quinn Forrester on the hit CBS soap, says that at first, her character didn’t really intend on doing anything harmful or malicious towards her enemy, Brooke Logan. Instead, she was just supporting her lifelong friend, Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), who couldn’t help but feel infatuated with the tall, dark, handsome, rich and successful man that happens to be Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

The actress tells the publication, “When Shauna moved in with her, Quinn did think she’d be awesome for Ridge, but she didn’t go trying to break anyone up. She was basically just cheering her friend on from the sidelines, saying, ‘Whatever happens, I support you.’”

And while Quinn thought she was being a good friend by supporting Shauna in her romantic pursuit of Ridge Forrester, she didn’t realize that she’s actually encouraging her friend to be with a married man. That’s where Brooke Logan steps in and of course defend what is rightfully hers. In this case, it’s her husband.

While Quinn might have the upper hand right now after exposing a videotape of Brooke sharing a passionate kiss with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), she might not want to do the happy dance for too long.
