Viewers may recall that Thomas taunted Liam when he said that he’ll always have a connection with Hope through Douglas. He added that if he decides to propose to her, he’ll be marrying into the “Thorpe” family, something that Liam will never accept.

Thomas’s dark speech may have contributed to Liam’s sudden marriage proposal and Liam’s got a plan to get rid of Thomas from their lives for good, or so he thought. He believes that as long as Thomas has Douglas, he’ll have a powerful tool to manipulate Hope.

Thomas will be furious once he finds out about Liam’s condition for marrying Hope. The two will have a fierce faceoff and Thomas will point out Liam’s heartless plan to force Hope to cut ties with Douglas.
