Longtime viewers with great memories will recall that Canning previously played another B&B character (Chanel, with no last name given) in 2009. The actor’s 2020 return has her portraying a doctor who will provide a legitimate diagnosis, as compared to what Doctor Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) offered.

She cried wolf loud and long. So, it’s natural that Wyatt won’t believe that there’s anything wrong with Sally when she collapses in front of him.

But Sally actually has a health crisis and is taken to the hospital, which is when viewers will see Canning’s newest B&B character debut. The focus will naturally be on whether Sally’s diagnosis is dire, or is the consequence of suffering a blow to the head that resulted when Flo tripped her.

Wyatt’s been a mess for approximately a year. Sally can’t be blamed for him twice dumping her. While her most recent response to the end of Wally was morally wrong and then turned criminal, the emotional roller coaster Wyatt put Sally on directly ties to the terminal illness lie she invented.

Flo needs to assert her firm role in Wyatt’s life. Whether Dr. Griffith proves to be a brief character, a recurring one, or more, Flo would be wise to stay close to Wyatt and push for marriage as soon as possible. Brooks’ character needs guidance.

Entertainment fans likely recognize Canning from her longtime role as a host on the mega-hit Dancing with the Stars. She served as a host of that reality series starting in 2005.

Canfield’s first credit was also as a host. She appeared on Entertainment Tonight in 1990 and appeared on other series in similar roles.

Her first acting credit came in 1993 when she played Meg Lawson on General Hospital. She had roles on many other shows through the years, including playing Adrienne (no last name given) on B&B’s sister show, The Young and the Restless in 2004 and 2005. She later appeared in numerous television shows and movies as well.
