It makes him forget about Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) for a bit. It also brings back fond memories of past holidays.

B&B spoilers reveal that Quinn has been paying the price for her manipulative schemes. Eric finally put his foot down when he discovered how far Quinn went to destroy “Bridge.” Not only did he specifically tell Quinn to back off, it hurt a lot of people. Two of these included Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Even though the couple is separated, Eric can’t stop thinking about his wife. Maybe it’s because he loves her so much or perhaps he is just lonely. In either case, Eric is having a tough time and is conflicted about what to do. This will get even harder for him as the holidays roll around.

It will brighten up his mood and get him to think about all of the holidays during the past several years. Since this gift is from Brooke, she will probably be the center of many of those memories. It might even make him forget about Quinn, at least for the time being.
