As previously reported, Bell confirmed that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will finally get a new romance. We aren’t sure if the mystery man will be a temporary or long-term character. However, fans have been asking for Steffy to get a new love interest. It seems we will finally get it. In addition, Steffy’s new relationship will be tied in with a current issue affecting people not only in the US, but around the world.

B&B Soap Spoilers – Multiple New Characters Coming

Steffy’s new man isn’t the only casting addition that is being made. Bell told Soap Opera Digest that fans should look forward to a few new characters. One thing that fans have suggested time and time again is expanding the cast.

After all, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is running out of men to have affairs with. As for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), they are chronic wafflers. There must be more men available for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) than just waffling Wyatt.

The Bold and the Beautiful writers kept busy while under lockdown. They kept writing scripts and there is a huge pile of stories that they can use now that production is restarting. What is interesting about this is the writing process and how quarantine affected the storytelling.

t’s not a matter of just writing as many scripts as possible. But quarantine gave them the time to really analyze the stories to make them better. So, we might see some improvements and positive changes.

Bell also explained that storylines were not the only things being analyzed, thought through, edited, and adjusted. They also took some time to really look at the characters that are currently on the canvas. So, expect some “character refinement” in future episodes.
