Wyatt is in a real pickle, as viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful know; he’s actually broken up with Sally to be with Flo twice now and seems to consider Flo, his high school sweetheart and friend since childhood, his true love. But now Sally has a terminal illness, Wyatt invited her to move in with him in his beach house with Flo’s blessing, because she figured Sally would be gone in a few weeks anyway.
But now Sally has lived at least a month past when her time was supposed to be up and hasn’t deteriorated much at all, aside from using a walker to help keep her balance, and seeming to be a little weaker. Flo is now suspicious and has been telling Wyatt that she thinks Sally is faking and emotionally blackmailing him and manipulating him, and that she has to move out!
Wyatt didn’t want to just put Sally out with a terminal illness, but she said she didn’t have any motivation to get treatment if she couldn’t be with him, and if he didn’t break up with Flo and come back to her, then she didn’t feel she would have a reason to get treatment. Wyatt loves both women in different ways – and he feels responsible for both of them and he feels guilty about the prospect of hurting either one of them! He doesn’t know what to do!
Bill has made a lot of mistakes with women in his life and did hurtful things to women he loves too – he is living it right now again with Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) who has forgiven him one too many times as far as she is concerned, and they had not remarried this last time they reconciled because of that well-warranted distrust of him she has.
He admits he had no business kissing Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) that night in the cabin. Wyatt says his mother had no business showing it in a public manner, she should have spoken to him and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) privately. But Bill uses this example, although somewhat of a poor one the way he has handled it, to relate to Wyatt’s position. For one thing, Wyatt only needs to take responsibility for any misleading of either of the two women, even if it was unintentional. He needs also to decide who he wants to be and who will make him happy.
From Bill’s perspective, he tells Wyatt that both Sally and Flo may be manipulating and emotionally blackmailing him, but Sally seems to be the one who really needs support now, and if Sally is the one he feels needs him the most, then he should go with Sally and try to convince her to get treatment. He cannot believe that Flo is accusing Sally of faking to get Wyatt back – if it were him, he certainly would not put up with that! It’s Wyatt’s choice, but if Flo is showing a side like that, in his opinion she’s the one that needs to go!
