The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: B&B Alum Jacob Young Joins Cast Of New Film

Formerly known as Rick Forrester on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” is keeping himself busy even after leaving the sudser. The actor took to Instagram to announce that he is joining the cast of a new short film called “Will of the West.”
“Hey friends. I’m excited for my friend who is a fantastic director and festival winner Coleman Anderton. I’m excited to be apart of this powerful short film to be shot in Idaho. Check out the Kickstarter,” the actor said.
The film focuses on a “family on their way to freedom [that] must fight the will of the old west, in this John Ford-inspired western tale.”

Apart from acting, Young is also a talented musician. He’s revealed back in January 3 that his new song titled “Lovin’ It,” will soon be available to purchase on different platforms.

Young’s first self-titled album was released back in 2001. Some viewers may recognize his other songs, which include “The Question of Young” in 2008, “Better Than a Love Song,” “Fool For You,” “Whiskey Kiss,” and “American Way” in 2018.

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Young’s Career
Young joined “The Bold and the Beautiful” back in 1997 as the young Rick Forrester until 1999. He received his first nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for the Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series category. He then spent three years on “General Hospital” as Lucky Spencer.
In 2001, he was dubbed by People magazine as “Sexiest Soap Star.” He won his first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his role on “General Hospital.”
He then became part of “All My Children” as JR Chandler from 2003 to 2011. He received nominations for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2005 and 2009. In 2011, he reprised his role as Rick on “The Bold and the Beautiful” and was then dropped to a recurring capacity in 2018. His other acting credits include “The Beach Boys: An American Family,” “Hope & Faith,” “Days of Our Lives,” “Killer Vacation,” “The Road Home for Christmas,” “Beacon Hill,” and “yA.”
